For junior riders wanting to improve their track speed, control and tactics on the bike. This is aimed at riders & racers already comfy on single black (grade 5) and double black (grade 6) trails but want to refine their skills and decision making.
2 days of riding from 9.45am to 3pm.
Morning session of skills coaching, afternoon session of timed training.
Strictly limited to 4 riders.
For juniors motivated to learn from experienced coaches qualified to the highest international standards.
-
Self-driven and motivated juniors who are keen to learn more about their riding, improve their technical skills and have some fun (this is more than party laps down jump lines!).
Junior riders who are comfy on challenging (up to double black/grade 6) trails at skyline.
Riders may be already involved with racing and want to improve their track speed.
-
First thing - bike checks and bike setup workshop.
Morning sessions begin with a skills coaching focus.
Afternoon sessions will be timed training on a suitable track for the group.
This is not a race - this is a tool to provide objective feedback on their own personal riding, and for riders to become comfortable being timed. If riders prefer not to participate in timing and just want to ride, that’s fine too.
-

Days begin at 9.45am.
Lunch for 45 mins at 12pm.
Days finish at 3pm.
-
Due to the nature of a performance camp, it is expected that riders arrive with appropriate gear - no exceptions will be made, if unsure, please reach out.

Riders should be entirely comfortable and controlled riding single black trails with good technique and confidence (e.g Armageddon, El Gato, Bubba, KY)
Riders should have spent decent mileage on double black trails too, but with less refined riding (e.g Grundy, Fundy, Ants, Hobbit).
